Journey North to Ballybofey+

The tour begins as we depart by executive coach, making our way towards County Donegal. We will stop for lunch in the town of Ardee, County Louth, followed by an afternoon break in Omagh, County Tyrone. On arrival in Ballybofey, we check into our 4-star hotel, our base for the next three nights. Each evening, travellers will enjoy a set table d’hote dinner before retiring for the night.

The Giant's Causeway and Historic Derry+

After a hearty breakfast, we head to the Antrim Coast to visit the world-famous Giant's Causeway. This geological wonder is a highlight of any Donegal Belfast coastal tour, offering some of the most impressive coastal scenery in Europe. The afternoon is spent in Derry, where you can explore the ancient city walls and local history before we return to the hotel for dinner.

Killybegs and the Wild Atlantic Way+

Today we explore the rugged beauty of the Donegal coastline. Our first stop is Killybegs, Ireland’s largest fishing port. From here, we travel along a stunning section of the Wild Atlantic Way to Dungloe for lunch. The afternoon drive takes us through the Donegal Highlands, passing the impressive Mount Errigal. This route is widely considered one of the most scenic drives on the continent. We will also have a brief stop in Letterkenny before returning to Ballybofey.

Donegal Belfast coastal tour Grand Finale+

On our final day, we travel to Belfast for a lunchtime stop. This is a great opportunity for some shopping or a visit to the Titanic Centre (advance booking required). In the afternoon, we visit the grounds of Stormont, the seat of the Northern Ireland Assembly. After taking in the impressive architecture and history of the parliament buildings, we begin our journey south, returning home with memories of a fantastic four-day break.
