Don Giovanni & Presidential Prague

This three-night Escorted Tour offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the cultural heart of the Czech Republic. Prague is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most beautiful capitals, and on this trip, you will see exactly why. Known as the City of a Hundred Spires, it is a place where majestic palaces and grand cathedrals are around every corner. Our itinerary is carefully organised to ensure you see the most significant landmarks, from the 15th-century Charles Bridge to the bustling Old Town Square. The centrepiece of the holiday is a performance of Don Giovanni Prague at the historic Estates Theatre. This is a particularly special experience as it was in this very building that Mozart conducted the world premiere of the opera in 1787.
You will stay at the 4-star Grandium Hotel, which is ideally located within walking distance of the main sights, including the State Opera and the National Museum. We have included a guided tour of Prague Castle, where you can admire the architectural detail of Saint Vitus Cathedral and hear stories of the city’s royal past. To give you a deeper look into the local culture, we have also arranged a backstage tour of the Estates Theatre and a three-course lunch on your first day. Dining is an important part of the experience, and our pre-opera dinner at the Mlýnec restaurant provides modern Czech flavour with views of the Vltava River. For travellers who enjoy independent exploration, the third day is left free for you to visit a local café or perhaps take a river cruise. This tour is designed for those who appreciate history and music in a relaxed, well-planned setting with expert local guidance throughout.
